任天堂日前正式公告，基於防範不正當使用，將從 2025 年 3 月 25 日（二）開始，停止日本國內「Nintendo eShop」和「My Nintendo Store」，對海外發行信用卡及非日本註冊的 PayPal 帳戶支援。
這次公告主要影響對象，是在日本「Nintendo eShop」和「My Nintendo Store」，使用非日本金融機構發行的 VISA、Mastercard、JCB 等國際信用卡，以及在非日本的海外註冊 PayPal 帳戶的玩家。
這次公開僅會影響日本地區，不包含其他海外地區的「Nintendo eShop」和「My Nintendo Store」。同時任天堂也確認，使用『Nintendo 預付序號』（點數卡）進行消費也不適用於此政策，沒日本金融機構發行信用卡的海外玩家，仍然能通過購買預付序號購買點數或 Nintendo Account 餘額的方式，在日本「Nintendo eShop」和「My Nintendo Store」進行消費。
